6th Degree Master Tammy Shannon Warden Tammy Shannon Warden, daughter to Master Penny Shannon, and mother to Sensei Trey Warden, holds a 6th degree Black Belt in Shotokan, 1st Degree Black Belts in American Freestyle, Shorinji-Ryu, and Tae Kwon Do. Tammy was the North American Sport Karate Association (N.A.S.K.A) number one rated female black belt competitor. She was the  VA, NC, SC, and WV regional and state champion two years in a row. She was also a state and regional level Olympic qualifier. Tammy along with 1980 Miss America Cheryl Prewitt Salem and Master Marc Cantrell made one of the first martial arts workout videos. As a model Tammy's martial arts career was exhibited in various nationwide ad camapigns, including several automakers' products and clothing merchants. Tammy works as a Nurse Practioner with a Masters Degree in Nursing. Tammy was a professional dancer who also plays two musical instruments.
